Candellariella coralliza

Candellariella coralliza – Bright golden yellow cracked areolate thallus composed of rounded granules clumped together resembling the top of a cauliflower. Rarely fertile. Uncommon and found usually on well lit, often isolated , acid, bird perching rocks. [cf. Candellariela vitellina which is a similar, more common, mustard yellow thallus with numerous yellow fruiting bodies, often confined to cracks in the supralittoral].
